Show costume price policy

Show costume price policy applies where you are hiring the majority of your costumes for your production from  Berenice Stage Costume Hire  and assumes you are using our delivery, fitting and pickup service. (or you have negotiated with Berenice Stage Costume Hire for the show costume rate and this has been confirmed in writing with a suitable method of colllection or delivery via a third party and associated costs)  

We have a single price for costumes whether principal or a chorus member. There are some specialist costume e.g. Suits of Armour which are charged at a higher rate.

Costume price is fixed at the date of booking not at the date of hire. Thus we will agree a costume prices at the date of booking and that will be your price for your show. A non-returnable deposit of 10% is required on confirmation of booking. (Berenice Stage Costume Hire may waive this deposit for selected clients). If you are using our delivery, fitting and pickup service. The outstanding balance becomes due on delivery of the costumes. Payment  of outstanding balance is required in advance when not using our delivery, fitting and pickup service.

We reserve the right to apply a premium for providing costumes outside our normal range of sizes

Individual Costume Price Policy

Individual costume price applies when the conditions for Show costume price does not apply. We have a single price for either principal or chorus costumes. There are some specialist costume e.g. Suits of Armour which are charged at a higher rate. Costume price is fixed at the date of booking not at the date of hire. Thus we will agree a costume prices at the date of booking and that will be your price for your show. A non-returnable deposit of 10% is required on confirmation of booking.  If you are using our delivery, fitting and pickup service, the outstanding balance becomes due on delivery of the costumes.

Payment  of outstanding balance, including any adminstration, packaging and carriage costs, is required in advance when not using our delivery, fitting and pickup service.

Carriage costs will be those of a third party carrier or you may arrange for collection at a mutually agreed time(packaging and administration costs may still apply).
